This is just my humble opinion of course, and your mileage may vary. Of all the pressings I have on CD of 'Thunder and Lightning', the Metal Blade is the one I reach for every time. Thunder and Lightning Lyrics by Thin Lizzy from the Masters of Metal: Its Alive album - including song video, artist biography, translations and more. I have all pressings of 'Thunder and Lightning' on CD, with the exception of the Wounded Bird issue, which I've heard, but it did nothing for me so I got rid of it. Thin Lizzy: Thunder and Lightning Tour (56) 7.6 55min 1983 NR. Eddie Shreyer, and Brian Slagel did a tremedous job on all the Thin Lizzy title issued by Metal Blade, which were, 'Black Rose (A Rock Legend)', 'Chinatown', 'Renegade', 'Thunder and Lightning', and 'Life Live'. To the OP, as to the Metal Blade issue you are inquiring about.If you have the opportunity to buy it, then DO IT! All the Thin Lizzy titles put out by Metal Blade sound excellent to my ears. 'Thunder and Lightning', what an awesome album! It's a shame it was Thin Lizzy's last studio album.
